What are the dates and venue for Rolling Meadows 2025?
Rolling Meadows takes place on the 29th, 30th and 31st December 2025 at 240 Lower Styx Road, Christchurch. The 29th is exclusive to campers only, with full festival access on the 30th and 31st.
Where is Rolling Meadows located?
Rolling Meadows is held at 240 Lower Styx Road, Bottle Lake, Christchurch 8083. The site is just 15 minutes from the CBD, 20 minutes from the University of Canterbury, and 25 minutes from Christchurch Airport. Nestled on the edge of Bottle Lake Forest and bordering Spencerville.
Is there a drop-off and pick-up area at the festival?
Yes. Rolling Meadows has a dedicated drop-off and pick-up zone for attendees using taxis, Ubers, or private transfers. This area is a no-wait zone and is strictly for active loading and unloading only.
We also have a dedicated space for Blue Star Taxis, making it easy for anyone booking directly with them.
For a stress-free option, bus pass add-ons will be available through Flicket when purchasing your festival ticket. These provide direct transport to and from the festival at set times.
No one may leave the festival site on foot – you must arrange for your transport to pick you up from the pick up/drop off point.
What are the festival opening hours?
Gates open at 12pm on the 29th and 10am on the 30th & 31st December. Final entry is strictly 8pm. The festival closes each night after the final set.
Is there an age restriction?
Yes. Rolling Meadows is strictly R18. No exceptions.
What I.D. do I need to bring?
Accepted forms of ID include a valid NZ driver licence, a current passport, or a HANZ 18+ card/Kiwi Access card. No other forms of ID will be accepted.
When will set times be released?
Full set times and stage schedules will be released in December via our website, Facebook & Instagram pages and email.

What is covered if I purchase ticket protection?
What’s covered?

Do you offer payment plans for tickets?
Yes. We offer Afterpay, which lets you buy now and pay in four installments over six weeks. No interest, no fees when paid on time.
How do I upgrade my 2 Day Pass to a 3 Day Camping Pass?
At the festival
Is the festival cashless?
Yes. Rolling Meadows is fully cashless and runs on the Wayver system. You can preload money onto your Wayver wristband before arriving, or top up on site at any time. All bars and vendors only accept Wayver payments.
Is there festival merch available?
Yes. Official Rolling Meadows merch will be available on site.
Will there be sunscreen available?
Yes! We provide free sunscreen on site. They will be located at every bar. You are also welcome to bring your own sealed sunscreen which will be opened and checked by security upon entry.
Can I bring a camera or take videos?
Phone cameras and small point-and-shoots or disposables are acceptable. Professional gear like DSLRs or anything with detachable lenses is not accepted.
What if I lose something at the festival?
During the event, head to the portacom next to the entry tent for lost and found. After the festival, lost and found will be handed into the Christchurch Central Police Station.

Can I bring a caravan, campervan or bus to the event? And can I sleep in my vehicle?
No you can’t bring vehicles of this type to Rolling Meadows! All camping must be in tents in our designated campground.
Can I bring a skateboard?
You can only bring a skateboard if you have signed up with Duckewe Brand Co before the event.
General Camping
What camping options are available?
We offer two camping zones, one for a general entry camping pass and one for glamping.
When is camping open?
Campground access begins at 12pm on the 29th December and closes at midday on the 1st January.
What is the maximum tent size we can have?
The largest size tent that is allowed into the festival is a 4-person tent (3mx3m).
Can I park my car on-site?
Yes, on-site parking is available. Once parked, you won’t be able to access your vehicle during the event unless it’s for medical or emergency reasons with a security escort.
Can we sleep in our cars?
Sleeping in cars is not allowed at Rolling Meadows.
Can I return to my campsite during the festival?
Yes, you can return to your campsite from the main festival at any time. There are no restrictions on movement between the festival and the campground.
Are campfires or gas cookers allowed?
No. Campfires and gas cylinders are strictly prohibited anywhere on-site. The festival has a wide range of food vendors running day and night.
What food and drink am I allowed to bring?
Campers may bring packaged snacks for personal use only. No alcohol is allowed. You may bring one empty clear water bottle, which can be refilled at water stations around the site.
Glamping
Who is glamping for?
Glamping is for groups of 2, 3 or 4 people who want extra comfort, convenience and access to elevated experiences like the VIP Zone.
What’s included with a glamping tent?
Every glamping tent comes pre-set with full bedding, pillows, sheet set and pillowcases, two side tables, two chairs, a floor rug, electric lantern, solar lights, display crate with floral touches, earplugs and bottled water.
What facilities do glampers get?
Glamping guests have access to private showers and toilets and gain access to the VIP Zone in the main festival.

Festival Map
A full site map will be released in December so you can see exactly where everything is located. This will include stage areas, food zones, bars, camping zones and key facilities. Make sure to check our Instagram and website before the festival for the final version.
Showers
There are showers on site for campers to use. They are open from 8am to 11am on the 30th and 31st of December.
Drinking Water
Free drinking water is available 24/7 across the entire festival site. Bring an empty clear bottle and refill as often as you need from our water stations.
Bars
There will be a bar located at each stage, plus a dedicated VIP bar for VIP pass holders. All bars operate through the Wayver cashless system.
Amusement Rides
We’ll have two amusement rides inside the festival grounds for anyone keen to take a break from the music and get a thrill. Ride passes can be purchased directly at each attraction.
Food and Drinks
A wide range of food vendors will be on site offering options including options for vegetarians and vegans. We also have a general store stocking non-alcoholic drinks, snacks and other essentials that is open 24/7.
