Hailing from Christchurch with two years behind the wheels of steel Damage Control A.K.A Brookie Thorpe has taken the local scene by storm and shows no signs of slowing down. Her high energy mixing is enough to get the dancefloor moving at any time of the night.

She has supported the likes of Sota, Luude, Primate, Kmotionz, Dimension, Emperor, Phibes, Gray, Kara, Koven, Culture Shock, Used, Ekko & Sidetrack, Reaper, Andromedik, Georgie Riot, Bru C, Maduk, Buunshin, Subsonic, Rusko, S.P.Y, Justin Hawkes, Monns, Delta Heavy and even made her debut in the Christchurch arena supporting Sub Focus and his circular sound tour alongside Krakota and Goddard to name a few.

Her busy schedule has followed through into festival season playing her first ever Rhythm and Vines and Rolling Meadows. She has ticked off playing various event after parties with the likes of Golden Lights, Netsky & Friends and Friction in all different parts of the country from Auckland to Queenstown.

Damage Control has multiple guest mixes out on her Soundcloud from 2 Kool FM mixes, Riot Records, Full Time Senders, George FM and Fruit Blender that combined have over 31,000 listens.

2024 has already been off without a hitch with a few massive shows under her belt already supporting Kanine, UKF Festival, her first ever headline show down at Hide, Mardi Gras Festival, Deep Hard n Funky, Rova, Suune, Ciko, a surprise b2b with Reaper, Tantron in Chch & Wellington, Simula, the entire Goddard tour with sets of her own + b2bs with Goddard and EJ Kitto & she was Dada Jones DJ, no days off, + her first ever Auckland headline show and formula still to come before the New Years run kicks off .
